Great area. Very kind and helpful staff at all hours of the day/night. It was an affordable price point and was a good sized room that was very clean.

The foyer is a bit small and tight at times.

At first i was disappointed because the room that we got is smoking room. But the nextday they cahnge it to non amoking. The aircon and heat is controlled by the building we cannot adjust it base on our liking. The food was ecellent. The staff is excellent. The cleanliness is extreme. The building is outdated but its super clean. The location is good its a bit far from main city, its good for walking. The nearest subway or train is 10min walk. There is so much local ramen area and seven eleven nearby. Overall is good.

The breakfast was good.

The A/C didn’t work. It was cold outside so we just opened the window. Thankfully it wasn’t summer.

The staff was very accommodating. They held our bags after check out so we could enjoy the area a little more before our flight. Check in was easy and the hotel itself was nice.

It was slightly more expensive to get a non smoking room. Our room didn’t smell too bad but definitely had a musty smell for a bit until the window was opened. They provided an air filter but not sure how well that worked. I did choose to get a smoking room though to not pay that little bit more. Still enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Older hotel but great value away from, but near, main areas of Shinjuku.

No free water in the room.improve english for the staff dealing with guests as tokyo is a tourist destination.

very clean with option for breakfast . Close to the train . Daily bath soaps and komodo & slippers . Quiet area so it was nice to sleep

Rooms are small but I suppose that is typical for Tokyo. Especially the bathrooms , ceilings are low . My son ( who is 6’3 )kept hitting his head on the way out of the room .

I like the location in a local neighborhood far from the chaos of Tokyo but walking distance. I like that it provided everything I needed. Close to subway, about 10- 15 min walk. Close to local (less touristy) restaurants with local prices (half of the touristic areas). They gave me new towels everyday even with do not disturb sign.

The price is high for being a 2-3 star hotel during season. Very slow check in with a very old school system all written in papers. It works, just slow, and can create quite a line at check in time in high season.

They ripped me off

I booked by mistake - realized about 20 minutes after I made the booking that I wouldn’t be able to get a train to it in time, so I messaged them and asked them to please cancel it. I had already paid and they just kept my money and told me to f*** off by automatic booking.com response. I get that the cancellation policy was stated upfront, but it was seriously like 20 minutes and I feel like they just stole $90 from me because they could.

Cosy room, good location in heart of Shinjuku, quite nice variety of food for breakfast. A bit old fashioned but very clean.

Ok size room with bathroom ,cleaned everyday All I needed as a solo traveler.Quite location.

Put in a smoking room, it stank. Breakfast was tasteless and not even tea available

Staff was nice, breakfast was delicious. Easy to navigate.

The location was good.

Some floors were designated for smoking however the smell of cigarette smoke was present on non smoking floors. Our booking did not specify smoking or non smoking and we were given a room on a smoking floor. The room had a strong smell of stale smoke and the hallway was very smoky. Luckily the staff did move us to a non smoking floor on request. The bathroom was very small and only had a shower over the bath.

Overall good experience. Staff and location is a plus point.

Ours was a semi double bed room where my friend and i stayed for 6 days. The room is good for a single person but 2 people can manage if they have to come to room only to sleep. Bed was comfortable and enough for 2 not so fat people. The staff was friendly and helping. Overall it was good experience.The negative point is its air conditioning system. The system is controlled by hotel staff and you can’t change the temperature. Tokyo gets warmer at night and it got very hot on the first night. The second day , they gave us a fan which helped. Overall good.
